Champions Run Master Plan
PHASE 2 is COMPLETE!

A Message From CEO/GM Andy Reetz

Dear Champions Run Members,

Over the years we have had some fun updating the progress of the Master Plan with

“Hard Hat Time”. As the new year approaches, I want to share a more formal update

on the progress of the Master Plan. Since the inception back in 2018 we have

successfully completed the following:

· Complete golf course bunker renovation

· New sports complex entrance with expansion of the fitness center, new equipment,

and remodeled locker rooms

· Creation of the new splash park at the pool and adult sandbar

· Cart path upgrades to holes #2, 3, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and practice/staging areas

· Remodel of clubhouse dining rooms and banquet facilities

· New clubhouse dining room furniture and banquet chairs

· Pool deck expansion and cabanas

· Remodel of the pro shop, ladies card room, and snack bar area

As you know, the funding of these projects was made possible due to the elimination of the Food & Beverage Minimums and creation of the Capital Dues Program. If you recall, thanks to ownership, we were able to secure financing early on to get a jump start on the Master Plan. To date, the capital dues program has generated approximately $3.3 million in funding. Combined with financing, we have been able to successfully complete the above-mentioned projects, for a total cost of $7.1 million. I hope you will agree these improvements have been a tremendous enhancement and continue to greatly assist in the overall membership experience.

There are still projects developing and during this time, we will work with our contractors, engineers, and architects to determine viability and more importantly what is the best use of resources for the Champions Run Membership. We will continue to work with the Board of Directors and keep you updated with “Hard Hat Time” and the Champions Run Newsletter.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, Management and Ownership, thank you for your continued support of Champions Run.

Former  Projects

Bunker Renovation

Working with original architect Jeff Brauer we will be reshaping and adding pro angle sand to every hole on the course.  Additionally, we will implement the Billy bunker method. The bunker renovations have already started and will continue into the spring of 2018, to be completed in the fall of 2018. The grounds crew has been taking the sand out of certain bunkers around the course so they are already prepared for the reshaping. Thank you for your patience during the process. our goal is not to close any holes as this work progresses. Watch the video above to see what our NEW BUNKERS will look like.

Splash Park-Fitness

Based on membership feedback, it was confirmed that we need to remove the outdated baby pools and replace it with something more kid friendly.  The NEW Champions Run Splash Park will definitely make a statement at the pool.  As the premier aquatics facility in the state, Champions Run continues to push the barriers and set the standard for aquatic operations throughout the country.  The new aquatic structure will come equipped with spray features, slides, bucket dump and more.  Construction will begin labor day 2018 with a completion date of memorial day 2019. Click the video the hear Ben discuss the project.
